The bakery is part of the farm in Labuch. The bakery, as well as the farm, is a member of the Ernteverband (Harvest Association) and follows the standardized criteria of organic agriculture. Freshly floured grain is made into about 20 different kinds of organic pastry, which go fast - not only at the Gleisdorf farmer's market! These delicious pastries are supplied to three health-food shops in Graz and Chance B's school buffet. The pastries from our bakery are also distributed at various regional health food festivals.
The bakery has also taken on the processing of various fruits and vegetables.
Work contents:
The preparation of the whole grain, the exact scaling of the various ingredients, baking with recipes, calculating portions, making the various doughs and fillings, shaping and garnishing the pastries, packaging, presenting and selling the pastries, handling money, balancing the day's revenue, storaging the raw products and the end products, quality and pest control, cleaning the devices and the workplace as well as the acquisition of basic knowledge about nutrition are all part of the work- and training process in our bakery.
